We control computers. Not the other way around.
You see, we don’t let our computer software tell us what to play. That’s a decision which one of the most talented music directors in the business does. William Woltz has been listening to YOU, as well as to all the CDs he listens to every day. Your likes, and dislikes, factor into his decisions about what to program. That’s why you are going to hear the familiar sounds of a Brahms symphony or a Beethoven piano sonata. The twist which William adds is his selection of the artists performing for you.
Oh, and did we mention that you can see what we are going to play tomorrow, and the day after? You have our General Manager, Deborah Proctor to thank for that permission to forward-announce our playlists. We are one of two stations that are permitted to do that legally under the terms of the Digital Millenial Copyright Act of 1998. Deborah managed to get The Classical Station grandfathered in! You see, we were publishing our playlists in advance online back in September of 1998. That’s right! We’ve been online since the 90s!

The CARES Act made changes in charitable giving.
Marty Lantz, CPA writes: “Section 2204 of the CARES Act allows for an above-the-line deduction of up to $300 per taxpayer for a cash donation to a public charity (other than a donor-advised fund or supporting organization under Sec. 509(a)(3)). The $300 limit applies to the tax-filing unit, so for those who file married filing jointly, the maximum above-the-line deduction is $300.” As always, consult your tax professional and/or financial adviser on all matters financial.
