DAFs, Stocks and Bonds

Donating DAFs, Stocks, Bonds, or Other Securities

WCPE will gladly accept donations of stocks, bonds, and other securities. Many matching gift companies will match donations of company stock as well as cash donations. Your Human Resources department is the best place to find answers to questions about company policies and practices.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows donors to contribute assets, such as cash, stocks, or other securities, to a sponsoring organization, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to nonprofits over time. WCPE is pleased to accept donations through DAFs, offering supporters another flexible way to sustain the station’s mission. Learn more about making a gift through your donor-advised fund HERE.
