Summer 2026

This summer, Monday Night at the Symphony brings listeners a season of bright orchestral color, celebrated soloists, and legendary conductors, Mondays at 8 PM EST. On June 8, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe helps us celebrate the birth of Robert Schumann with a pristine recording of his Symphony No. 3 “Rhenish.” On July 20, Nelson Freire gives a fiery performance of Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor alongside the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra. Then, on August 25, Leonard Bernstein leads the New York Philharmonic in exceptional recordings of his own compositions, just in time for the great musician’s birthday. Join us for these radiant summer evenings, only on The Classical Station.
