Interview: Andrew Litton

This interview with TheClassicalStation.org traces Andrew Litton’s path from a piano student in New York to an internationally prominent conductor. He talks about the early influence of Leonard Bernstein, his formative years around the Metropolitan Opera, and the practical education he received by watching great conductors at work. The conversation also follows his rise through Juilliard, La Scala, Bournemouth, Dallas, and later the New York City Ballet.
