Born near Manchester in the UK, Naomi Lambert grew up in a musical household and learned both piano and violin, performing in orchestras through university. She has sung with choral groups in venues such as Wells Cathedral, Christchurch, Oxford, Royal Festival Hall, London, Symphony Hall in Hong Kong, and with the Master Chorale in North Carolina. She holds Masters degrees from the University of Oxford and Duke University. Her professional background is in financial services. Naomi and her husband have lived in the UK, Hong Kong, and North Carolina, with the last 21 years spent in Raleigh. Naomi is, first and foremost, a Bach lover but also enjoys Schubert lieder, piano works by Poulenc and Saint-Saëns, anything by Vaughan Williams, Britten, Holst, and Warlock and is quite partial to opera. When not working at The Classical Station, she runs her own business, volunteers with local groups, spends time with her three sons, and loves exploring the NC Mountains.
