Born near Manchester in the UK, Naomi Lambert was raised in a musical household and played through violin in orchestras through university. She has sung with choral groups in venues such as Wells Cathedral, Christchurch, Oxford, Royal Festival Hall, London, Symphony Hall in Hong Kong, and with the Master Chorale in North Carolina. She holds masters degrees from the University of Oxford and Duke University. Naomi and her husband have lived in the UK, Hong Kong, and North Carolina, with the last 21 years spent in Raleigh. Naomi likes JS Bach best but also enjoys Schubert lieder, piano works by Saint-Saëns, anything by Vaughan Williams, Britten, Holst, and Warlock and is quite partial to opera. When not volunteering at The Classical Station, she has her own business, likes to travel, spend time with her three sons, and hike up mountains.
