Naomi is Assistant Music Director. She joined the WCPE family of volunteer announcers in 2017, having listened to the Classical Station since she moved here in 1998. Naomi has fairly eclectic tastes having grown up listening to classical music on BBC Radio3. She adores Bach and the baroque period, as well as enjoys Prokofiev, Franck, Gabrieli, Britten, and Puccini. She’s also a fan of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Kate Lindsey. Her background in music includes playing violin and piano; singing in chapel choirs and playing in orchestras while studying at Oxford. While living in Hong Kong, Naomi joined the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
