Katherine Hill is the Assistant Music Director, host of As You Like It, and last but not least a Dramatic Soprano. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is originally from Georgia, but currently resides in Wake Forest, NC.
She has had lead roles in: “The Magic Flute”—The Third Lady; “Pirates of Penzance”—Kate; “Carmen”—Mercedes; “Madame Butterfly”—Suzuki (Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC); “La Vida Breve”—Carmela (Opera Carolina); “Amahl and the Night Visitors”—Mother; “The Ugly Duckling”—Mother Duck (Children’s Opera with UNCG).
Katherine still sings with her church choir and enjoys getting to share her love of music at The Classical Station. When not reveling in music, she spends time with her husband and child, whom she loves with every fiber of her being!
