Chrissy Keuper

One of Chrissy Keuper’s earliest memories is of hearing and loving classical music on the radio, so it’s no surprise that she eventually became a classical music announcer. Chrissy started her career as a weekend classical music and news announcer at WUOT-FM, the University of Tennessee’s public radio station in Knoxville. After graduating from the university with a degree in Anthropology, she continued broadcasting at WUOT as a local host for national news programs and a live talk show, and later became the station’s news director.

Chrissy eventually returned to hosting classical music, and thinks of it as the best job in broadcasting. Today, she is thrilled to be part of The Classical Station’s mission to reach listeners, improve lives, and cultivate enduring support for public radio by sharing this wonderful and diverse art form.
