WAKE FOREST, N.C. (April 23, 2008)—WCPE, TheClassicalStation.org, announces today that its weekly program Preview! will feature an interview with Allan Friedman, artistic director of the Women’s Voices Chorus. The interview will air during the station’s Sunday, April 27 program that runs from 6-9 p.m. ET.
During the program, WCPE “Great Sacred Music” host Ken Hoover and Friedman will discuss the intricacies of the Chorus, as well as its upcoming spring concert being held May 4 at the University United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill.
“We will explore Friedman’s approach to the unique qualities of a chorus of all women's voices,” says Hoover. “A rich repertoire of music for women’s voices exists which Friedman hopes to expand.”
