 | Volunteer Joan Flood helps set-up in the early afternoon by decorating with beautiful yellow roses. |
| Volunteers Curtis Brothers and Keith Lewis have a little fun while waiting for the first guests to arrive. | |
 | Long-time volunteer Lesley Hyman was one of more than 2 dozen friends to be inducted into the "1000 Hour Club," acknowledging over 1000 hours of volunteer service to WCPE. |
| Cars begin to fill the parking lot in front of the studio building as guests arrive. | |
 | Hundreds of guests came out to celebrate WCPE's 25th anniversary! In this photo you can spot "Music in the Night" host Elmo Scoggin (in the doorway), "Allegro" host William Woltz (center of photo, to the right of Elmo) and Volunteer Director Dave Sackett (far right). | Announcer Melissa McAllister led tours through WCPE's broadcast studio as guests mingled outside the window. |
| Larry Kirwan, host of "Sleepers, Awake!" plays his hammered dulcimer as entertainment for the Open House guests. | |
 | Former host of "Sing for Joy!", Dr. Alvin Reuter, sat down for a quick interview with Ken Hoover, host of WCPE's "Great Sacred Music." |
| Visitors walk down the long driveway towards the transmitter building in order to get a closer look at WCPE's 100,000 watt transmitter, generator and 1,200 foot tower. | |
 | A view of the tower from its base. At 1,200 feet, it's almost as tall as the Empire State Building! |
We thank you for your support of Great Classical Music and are truly thankful for your participation in our 25th anniversary Open House!
