WCPE is a non-commercial, independent, listener-supported station dedicated to excellence in classical music broadcasting. No university funds WCPE. No state, local or federal government funds WCPE.

WCPE is fully listener supported.

We conduct two major on-air fundraising campaigns per year to raise needed operating funds; the other 350 days of the year are devoted to classial music programming, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

WCPE is 100% listener-supported, and without your support we simply wouldn't be here. We're one of the few stations left that is solely supported by its members, and we like it that way! We are free to tailor our programming to your preferences; we answer only to our members --not the government, not a university-- which means we can play what you want to hear!
