Niche Programming Attracts Larger Weekend Audience to the Web
PORTLAND, Ore. April 3, 2001 - MeasureCast, Inc., the first company to provide Internet radio broadcasters and other
streaming media content providers with next-day audience size and demographics information, today released its
March Internet Radio Report. The analysis found that although Internet radio listening is primarily a weekday
phenomenon, there are cases in which niche weekend programming attracts larger audiences than weekday shows
during the same time slots on the same station.
