Contest Rules for WCPE, 89.7 FM, TheClassicalStation.org

To qualify for a WCPE Contest, entrants must be US residents and/or WCPE donors. Entrants must be over the age of 18, except in instances with age-restricted prizes; in those cases, the entrant must be old enough to legally obtain the prize. Entries are limited to one qualifier per family, household, or address.

Employees of WCPE and members of their households and family are ineligible. Contest winners and family and household of winners are ineligible to participate in additional contests for 30 days.

All prizes, unless otherwise specified, must be picked up at the WCPE studio during weekday business hours within thirty days of winning; it is the sole responsibility of the winner to take possession of the prize within the deadline time. Prizes may be shipped at the discretion of WCPE but winner must pay all shipping and handling costs. A designated representative will be allowed to accept and pick up the prize for the winner, if WCPE and the winner agree. WCPE is not responsible for the prize after delivery to the carrier or designated representative.

All rights to prizes not picked up or declined are forfeited and WCPE then has the right to use such prizes at its discretion. Prizes are non-transferable, void where prohibited by law, no cash substitution is allowed. In the event of non-availability of a prize WCPE may substitute another prize of similar value. In the event of any dispute, the decision of WCPE is final.

Entrants by their participation agree to hold harmless WCPE and its donors, agencies, sponsors or representatives of any and all liability for any and all consequences; agree that WCPE may publish and broadcast their name, character, likeness, voice or all matters incidental herein; and, entrants agree that they are responsible for reporting and paying any and all taxes, tariffs, customs, duties, etc. on prizes.

Entrants agree that all contest entries become the property of WCPE; that WCPE may withhold any contest materials it deems crucial to the completion of the contest; that all decisions of WCPE are unilateral and final; and, that WCPE may change the contest rules at any time.

During certain times, those who offer to support WCPE may automatically be entered into contests. To enter during such times without making an offer to support WCPE, send one written request via US First Class Mail with your name and address and expressing your desire to be entered into that particular contest to: Contest, WCPE Radio, PO Box 897, Wake Forest NC 27588. The entry must be received prior to the close of the contest. All contest rules apply.
